I live pretty close to Newtow...Thanks for the post. I live pretty close to Newtown and have friends whose kids went to Sandy Hook. I want security for my own kids, and it scares me to let them out of my sight. Then I remember that in the 1950s and 1960s kids in school (even kindergarten) practiced "Duck and Cover" in case of a nuclear attack. It actually is very similar in practice to what you describe.
